Kayla Brown Media Services (KBMS) was born from a simple truth I kept seeing: small businesses, nonprofits, and family-run shops often don’t need a full web developer—they need someone dependable to help keep their website up to date.
Things like adding announcements, updating product photos, swapping out inventory, fixing broken links, or posting a new newsletter may seem small, but they’re essential. And they’re time-consuming. Most business owners don’t have the time—or desire—to learn how to do all of that themselves. But they also don’t need to pay a developer every time a button needs updating or a photo needs changing.
That’s where I come in.
KBMS is about helping people with the real, ongoing tasks that keep their websites current and functional. I work remotely with small teams and solo business owners who just want a reliable person they can trust to understand their needs, make the updates, and keep things simple. I’m not a developer—and that’s the point. I specialize in content updates, and I’ve built this business around being approachable, detail-focused, and easy to work with.
Over the years, I’ve learned new tools by doing—because people trusted me to figure it out. I’ve worked in platforms like Squarespace and WordPress; used Canva, MailChimp, Adobe, and Microsoft tools; and supported clients on Instagram and Facebook. Every project has been a chance to grow, adapt, and provide even more value.
Behind the scenes, consistent website updates are one of the most important ways a business stays connected to its community. I’m here to make that part easier—for real businesses, run by real people.
